>Examine your wounds.
You take a shallow breath and look down at yourself, examining the damage. Binder's definitely fucked. There's blood pooling out of a lucky gut shot, staining your clothes a deep maroon. There's gashes along your forearm that you used as a makeshift shield for your head and a gash just above your left knee. Enough wounds to die from.
But as you examine yourself... You watch the skin knit itself back together. A slight itch follows. For a moment, you think you're hallucinating, yet your limbs feel fine when you move them around.
Is it from the dagger? Or something else within you? You don't know. But you're different now.
The only wound that seems to struggle to heal is a burn on your hand from clutching the dagger. You almost have to peel the handle off your skin. Huh. Looks like divinity dislikes you after all.
Though now... You're invincible.
You stare up at the sky. A challenge to the Heavens and all it can carry as you grab onto the symbol of a God that has crossed you. Not the other way around.
You tear it off.
"You see me up there!? You motherfucker!? You're going to wish you could come down and kill me yourself!"
What is a God to a non-believer? A thought. And any thought can be forgotten.
When you look back at the body, you feel the rage within you twist itself. Thoughts of domination and desecration swarm in your mind.
>Loot the body
>Take the wings
You search the body. The angel's halo disappeared along with their weapon. To where, you also don't know. All that's left in their pockets are prayer beads.
That's fine. You've got the real prize. With a kick, you turn the body over.
First. You have to make sure.
You kneel down, almost straddle the body, and raise the dagger over your head.
You have to make sure.
You hope that It's watching.
